An automobile model sold between 1955 and 1970 by Ford Motor Company in North America was Ford Fairlane. Henry Ford's Fair Lane gave the name "Ford Fairlane" taken from his estate, near Dearborn, Michigan.

Over time, the name was taken from a series of different cars in different classes, At that time, Fairlane was initially a size car, but became a mid-size car from model of 1962s. The mid-sized model spawned the Australian built Fairlane in 1967, although It was considered as a great car.
