The first generation Barracuda, a fastback  coupe body based on the Plymouth Valiant, had a glass of distinctive surroundings back and was available from 1964 to 1966. In 1967 the second generation of 1969 Barracuda, though still based Valiant, was heavily renovated. The second-generation body cars were available in notchback, hatchback and convertible versions.
